I. Scope of application:

Once individuals, whose housing provident fund accounts are "sealed", are employed by a unit, the new unit should be within 30 days from the date of employment, for employees to handle account transfer procedures.

II. Handling place:

The Construction Bank's housing provident fund business network where the unit's housing provident fund account is located or the Shanghai Provident Fund Management Center's business network.

III. Requirements for handling:

1. When employing units go to CCB's housing provident fund business outlets where their housing provident fund accounts are located, they must issue the Notice of Shanghai Housing Provident Fund Transfer in duplicate (The first copy is stamped with the official seal of employing units or the special seal for housing provident fund business);

2. Individuals who come to the management department shall provide the following documents and materials:

(1) Completed Acceptance Form for Transfer of Centralized Sealed Household Provident Fund (Supplementary Housing Provident Fund);

(2) The original identity document of the applicant. If entrusted, the trustee shall be the spouse or direct blood relation of the principal. The trustee also needs to provide the original ID card and the original proof of the relationship between the principal and the trustee;

(3) Original and photocopy of the certificate of establishing labor relations with the new unit;

(4) Personal housing provident fund account number;

(5) Housing accumulation fund account number of the transferred unit (New unit).

IV. Handling procedures:

1. The process handled by the employing unit: the unit provides the essential materials ------- the housing provident fund business outlet of the Construction Bank or the business outlet of the Shanghai Provident Fund Management Center where the housing provident fund account of the employing unit is located for review and handling;

2. The process handled by the employee: the employee personally provide the essential materials ------- the business outlets of Shanghai Provident Fund Management Center will review and handle them.

V. Time limit for processing:

Under the condition of complete formalities, no more than 3 working days needed.

★The business of personal housing provident fund account transfer (from "sealed special account" to employing unit) has been opened online.

1. Handling channels: online business processing system for unit provident fund (web version, client).

2. Application conditions:

Webpage version: use the certificate of legal person one certificate (the provident fund account has been added and the application of provident fund has been opened), the special certificate of provident fund or the electronic business license to log in.

Client: use the certificate of one certificate of legal person (the provident fund account has been added and the application of provident fund has been opened), the special certificate of provident fund and the 1st to 5th generation cards of provident fund to log in.

3. Time limit for processing:complete on the spot.

4. Employees who are foreign workers and ones from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in Shanghai cannot apply for online transfer of individual housing provident fund account at present.
